Launched in 2007, this UFO designed by Holman & Pye is a cruising and racing fibreglass monohull sailboat class. It is a sloop based on a design by Holman and Pye. Over 150 UFO 34's have been built both in the United Kingdom and Australia. She is set up for long distance cruising and very versatile in her use whether racing, day cruising, island hopping or liveaboard.
VELLAMO was out of Water in November 2023 for Antifoul, fresh painted deck and sides, new bimini canvas and clears. Nothing to spend as the current owner has maintained her to high standards merticulously since ownership. Partial Rigging replaced in March 2023, the engine has been regularly serviced by profesional marine mechanics with an extensive service in November 2022. With a new Doyle Furling Genoa fitted in January 2023, the sail inventory is in good condition, navigation electronics include a Garmin gpsmap 4012 chartplotter and depth sounder, watermaker makes it perfect for long range cruising.
Fully functioning galley with gas appliances, heaps of storage and bench space, refrigeration/freezer plus ice box to stock up on supplies. Can accommodate 7 pax comfortably across 2 double berths plus double and single conversion to settee.
New clears and bimini custom made covers to fully enclose the cockpit for protection from weather, comes with dinghy purchased new in 2022 with a Tohatsu outboard, carries 750 l fuel plus jerry cans onboard, water capacity in bladder 250 l also with extra jerry cans.
